Studio Zunarelli has developed an expertise also in real estate and logistics, providing assistance to important players of the sector with regard to contractual relationships, disputes, financing procedures and the obtainment of authorizations/permits needed to carry out business.

Here are some examples of our work:

  • we advise owners of large buildings which are subject to mass squatting on how to safeguard their interests before both civil and criminal courts ‒ also by taking on the role of receiver ‒ and have achieved important results (eviction and restitution to the legitimate owner);
  • we have performed due diligence in a share deal of an SPV owning a building for office use of approximately 15,000 square meters in the center of Bologna;
  • we have advised a Chinese company in the award of a sub-contract to an Italian enterprise for the construction of a pavilion of Milan Expo 2015;
  • we have advised on the drafting and/or negotiation of several lease contracts of building complexes, facilities, hotels, spaces in trade centers, etc.;
  • we have carried out due diligence activities for the acquisition of real estate compounds for logistics;
  • we have advised on the formation of a housing association, seeing to the drafting of its by-laws, internal regulations and of the allocation procedures of the buildings;
  • we have provided assistance to companies operating in the development of logistics parks with respect to both administrative and urban planning aspects and contractual aspects;
  • we have represented companies operating in the building sector in disputes resulting from the development of building plans for commercial and/or residential purposes (for example, with regard to vices and defects of the contracted works, to the ascertainment of the liability of the professionals involved in the planning / project management, to the breach of pre-contracts of sale, to the compensation for damage due to buyer’s rescission, etc.), including the related insurance issues;
  • we have represented foreign clients (private clients, banks) in purchase contracts of buildings located in Italy.
