Vincenzo Cellamare is an Associate of the Firm, which he joined in 2006. He provides assistance in the full spectrum of commercial law issues, assisting his Clients in the drafting, negotiation and execution of any agreements which may be in connection with their business activities, in Italy and abroad. Typical areas of intervention are those of distribution, agency, sales concession, consultancy, procurement, transportation, use of the ship, supply, sub-supply and licensing.
He also assists in all complex branches of insurance law: from the typical risks of the transportation sector (damage to transported goods and machinery and civil liability of the carrier) to the fire insurance branch.
He has gained vast expertise in the area of risks arising from industrial and professional activities, both of the company and of the contractor, and provides continous assistance to prominent insurance companies in disputes which originate from medical negligence and tour operator liability.
Vincenzo assists on all legal aspects related to transportation and to both maritime and air navigation, as he is able to count among his Clients navigation companies, NVOCC, airlines, ground and multimodal carriers, logistics operators, shipping companies, terminals, port companies, airport management companies, Port Authorities, shipyards, marinas and tour operators.
He has gained a significant experience in the issues related to the recognition of the minimum operating costs pursuant to art. 83 bis Law 133/2008 and to direct action pursuant to art. 7 ter Legislative Decree 286/2005, as well as in relation to cabotage and illegal road transport of goods.
Furthermore, he provides non-contentious and contentious assistance in connection with issues concerning carrier liability, the granting and renewal of authorizations to operate and to provide port and airport services, the approval of port and airport areas concessions and local public transportation.
His practice includes administrative law and he both assists individuals and public entities and institutions  in handling relations presenting administrative relevance, and represents them in litigation cases.
Practice areas of particular interest are:  ports law, project financing, local public transportation and the related drafting of or opposition to tender documentation, public procurement, concessions, permits and authorizations, opposition proceedings against the administrative stop and seizure of vehicles, transportation means and goods.
Vincenzo has gained significant experience in the areas of public procurement, city planning, construction industry, public competitive exams, environment.
As a member of the Firm, he provides assistance to public entities, company and individuals, both by advising them and also in the litigation stage before judicial courts of first and second instance.
Additionally, he regularly provides advice and assists companies in the various stages of participation in bidding procedures. He also assists public entities in the tendering process, both in the drafting of the invitation to tender and in the carrying out of the relevant activities, as well as in the issues which may arise therefrom.
He attended in 2009 the Master course in European Transportation Law organised by the Bologna University and obtained in 2012, with a paper on navigation law by the title “Service concessions in the port, state-owned maritime and interport areas: the impact of European legislation on the freedom to provide services”,  a reaearch Doctorate in European Transportation Law. He still collaborates, as “cultore della materia” (reserach associate), with the Chair of Navigation Law of the University of Bologna Law School.

He obtained his Law Degree from the University of Bologna in 2006, and is a member of the Italian Bar Association, Taranto section, from 2009.
